"The Measurement Instrument Directive (MID).
New ways of assessing the conformity of heat meters III".
Aim of the seminar:
The Measurement Instrument Directive (MID) will be anchored in national legislation by October 2006. By then, the procedures for designation and the concrete, technical procedures for conformity assessment/confirmation must be clear to all partners. This will be illustrated by the methods as they will be used in coordination between Switzerland, Austria and Germany.
The seminar is addressed to European Metrology Institutes, manufacturers and distributors of heat meters, users of heat meters, operators of test laboratories and verification authorities.
